I have installed keylogger. But I cannot open it.

At first, please make sure that the software is not removed by Antivirus. Go to the installation path (by default: c:\program files\FKL). Can you see emsvc.exe and logview.exe there? If not, then it was probably removed by antivirus, or by user. Please temporaty disable antivirus, then reinstall keylogger. After that, add installation path to the exceptions list of antivirus.

What is a hotkey required to open keylogger (Report Viewer)?

I don’t want to monitor my own Windows user account. Please help.

A.

Yes, you can "tell" agent to stop monitoring your user account. Please open the Settings, then go to the Monitoring -> Users tab.  In the list please uncheck the item that represents your user name. Click OK to save the settings.

How can I read the reports from computers of my employees, through LAN?

A.

On every computer of your employees, where keylogger is installed, you need to configure the Email Sending to Local Network. Open the Settings -> Report Sending -> Local Network.  Enable the option "Copy reports to network folder", and specify the UNC-format path to the shared directory in your LAN (actually you can share and use any folder on your own computer).

After you apply this setting, the agent will start sending the reports to the network directory. Now you need to configure the Report Viewer on your own computer in order to load the reports from the directory automatically. Warning! To be able to set this option, you should have the "Only Report Viewer" type of keylogger installation on your computer.

Click the "Settings" button. Enable the option "When Reports Viewer is starting, automatically load reports from the network folder", and specify the path to that folder.

Please help me to configure the SMTP settings for report sending via email

In general, you need to consult your mail provider in order to obtain all SMTP information. It all depends on who gives you the mailbox.

For example, for Gmail accounts, the input data might look like this:

"Send to": specify your email for receiving the reports.
"SMTP Server":  smtp.gmail.com.
"Port": 465.
"Username": senderemail@gmail.com   (you can use your other email here, or the same email you have used in the "Send to" field).
"Password": password of your email account.
"Security": TLS

I have received the report on my email/FTP/Dropbox/LAN. How do I open it?

A.

To open the report, you need to Import it first. In your Report Viewer, click the "Import Reports" button. Then locate and choose your ".fkr" report file. The report will be imported.
You'll see a new item in the tree (left side of the Report Viewer window). Click at this new item to open the report.

How to uninstall your software?

A.

It depends of what kind of installation you have. If you have agent and report viewer on your PC, then you should complete the following steps:

  1. Click Ctrl+Alt+Shift+U  and enter your password to open the Report Viewer;
  2. On the toolbar, click the "Uninstall" button.

If you have only Report Viewer installed on your PC, then you should follow the standard procedure of uninstall:

  1. Find "FKL" item in the Start Menu (or Uninstall list);
  2. Choose "Uninstall FKL".
